ProQuest's license agreement permits Yukon teachers access to over 300 periodicals and
journal titles addressing all aspects of K-12 education, as well as a reference collection
for professional development and continuing education. The database includes publications covering every area of education, including administrative, core and supplemental curricula disciplines, information technology, library science, and more.
The collection features original articles with citation/abstract, full text, and image formats for the majority of publications, with an average of 5+ years of full-text archive backfile.
The sophisticated ProQuest search engine allows researchers at any level of expertise to search by key word, subject, publication, topic, or natural language. Users may save, print, or email documents directly from the database.
The on-line access to these professional periodicals replaces most of the print periodicals previously purchased by Resource Services, however back issues are still available in the Teacher Professional Library. Subscriptions to print versions of Provincial Specialist
Association Publications from BCTF and French periodicals will continue.
